Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop music after getting the attention of people through her hit songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the forefront as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music, and independent, artistic pop. Her soprano voice and talent for writing emotional songs are what make her distinct. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed her and started preparations to release her debut album.
