Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
In the beginning, after being influenced from the shadows that she observed on the grass of trees, she worked for months in developing a process that did not depict the object in a 2D picture. The chosen subject transforms into an image. This is especially true for living things as well as those that are likely to perish, such as fruit or even humans. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral and the image is what is left. The painting and photography techniques are tightly coordinated, resulting in a flat two-dimensional space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain areas of the photo such as the hair, or eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Occasionally, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional world around them, allowing them to engage with this self-created world. Thereby repealing the boundaries between painting, photography, performance and installation.
