Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. There are more than 20 albums that have been released by her. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. They also have influences from hip hop music, jazz, and punk. Ani diFranco was the first musician to start her own label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco, who had been in contact while at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was of Italian origin and her mother came from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song is featured on her album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. The song is featured in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologised in 2013 when it was reported that she would be hosting a three day workshop at an Louisiana slave plantation. Even though she canceled the event however, a lot of individuals (including our paper) didn't feel any remorse. DiFranco offered a second apology a few days later. Although known by the name of Little Peoplesinger, she's collaborated with a variety of musicians and artists, from Pete Seeger through Chuck D up to Prince. Her home is New Orleans.
