Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born at 19th of December 1986. She's Canadian, but has a job in Hollywood. Her most well-known work is portraying the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek which began in the year 2015 and ended in 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa Ontario Canada. The parents of her were employed as teachers. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she started performing on the stage. Next, she decided to apply for admission at Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma. After that, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory where acting was taught. After moving into Los Angeles, she began performing professionally when she was 22. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television action thriller Lethal Obsession. She went on to perform small and additional roles in a variety of movies.
