Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals in one Games. Then, in Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first woman to be the first woman ever to take home consecutive World All-around titles (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics at the age of six on school field trips to Bannon's Gymnastix and was there for 11 years under the guidance of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles had a great time in the vault and floor exercises at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an high-level competitions in 2011. In less than two years she was the very best in her sport.
